Picture Page

Here are some pictures from this week. I'm trying REALLY hard to take a good amount of pictures but I always seem to forget! Plus, Olivia isn't the best model right now with all of the sleeping, eating and pooping she's been doing :)

Roses are Red, Babies are Yellow

Happy 1st day of Spring, it couldn't have come soon enough!

So we have had an interesting and stressful couple of days since we came home with Miss. Olivia. She had a case of jaundice and we were up and down the road getting her levels checked at the pediatrician. Today we found out that everything is going down and she's A-Ok!

We celebrated with a little photo shoot - I can't believe she's almost a week old already!!!

Rich and Zachary took advantage of the nice weather and hit the trail for a bike ride. Someone was exhausted from watching Daddy pedal and took a little snooze.

This is the first time Zachary has held his sister. He LOVED it and it melted my heart!

Olivia also tried out a paci for the first time. She definitely liked it and I prefer this over sucking on her arms and fingers!
Here is a little video of Z jumping on the railroad tracks during his outing with Daddy. I think we have a possible long jumper in the family!

We're Home!

Wow, after a whirlwind of events on Saturday night we finally have our beautiful little girl in our arms. I won't post the whole birth story here but the gist is this: I went into labor Saturday night and headed to the hospital. When we got there we learned that Miss Olivia had turned herself into a total breach position. They were concerned I would go into active labor and end up in an emergency c-section so we decided we would have one first thing Sunday morning.

Olivia made her debut at 10:03 am on March 14th. She is a tiny 7lbs 70z and 20 inches compared to her 8lb 40z 21.5inch big brother!

She's absolutely perfect in every way. She eats like a champ, gives us some great patches of sleep and loves to snuggle. We are so blessed!!

Here are some pictures, in no particular order:

**I want to give a shout out to Carrie for updating the blog for us and for coming over Saturday night to hold down the fort and make sure my little guy was safe and sound while he slept. Also, thank you to Mrs. Laura & Mr. Rich for keeping Z for us!**

She's here!!!

Hi, it's Carrie!

I just got the word:
At long last, Olivia Marie was born earlier this morning at 10:03 am. She weighed a healthy 7lbs, 7oz.  Everyone is doing well, and Holly will post more pictures and updates as the days go on. We can't wait to see you in person, Baby Olivia!

Congratulations to Rich, Holly and proud big brother Zachary!!

We can make a dimple smile out of a frown

Clip, clip here, clip, clip there... in the merry ol land of Oz.

Z was introduced to his first at home hair cut this week. He was looking pretty shaggy and Rich decided to just buzz him up! He wasn't as content as he is for the ladies at the salon but he did Ok.

The cut turned out great - no picture of an after because I passed out from the mess of hair EVERYWHERE!

Juliana Marie

I am so happy to introduce Carmen & Ryan's precious little girl, Juliana Marie. She's 100% perfect, squishy and amazing! I don't think I've ever met a more content newborn. She just loved to be cuddled and snuggled.

Is this a proud big brother, or what?

She gave me a little stink eye

Last Belly + a Head (mine, not the baby's)

Here I am at 38 weeks! These will be my last "staged" belly shots. Hopefully we can get one the day I go into labor, if we remember.

Everything is going great! I am really ready to meet this little girl and I'm a wee bit anxious, impatient, annoyed. She's worth the wait though!!

At my last appointment I had started to dilate so I'm hoping for more news like that tomorrow. Pretty much any day now she can come and we couldn't be more ready!!

Oh and I decided to include my face in these - for those who were longing to see it :)

It has been fun sharing my pregnancy with all of you but I'm really looking forward to sharing our life as a family of FOUR very soon!!!

Here is the blog from 34 weeks (belly all the way at the bottom)
