Olivia's Birthday

I don't have any pictures from Olivia's actual birthday. We pretty much spent it as a regular day, then went to dinner at Chili's (Olivia's pick, hehe) and Friendly's for ice cream. 

Saturday was her actual party. We had a great day celebrating with family and friends. Olivia is getting 4 teeth right now and wasn't in a party mood but we got the job done. Her "theme" for the party was cupcakes - complete with a giant cupcake cake!

Milestone Mayhem

Olivia has been the milestone master this past week. She has decided to do everything all at once..

Last Sunday she started to wave hello when we said hi to her. Then she started clapping!! (excuse the beginning part of the video - my camera is not always cooperative!)(and yes they are wearing christmas pjs - we did a photoshoot!)


The next day I noticed she was getting her very first tooth! That popped through within a day and now she has her second one coming in!

The past few days she has been taking off on her push walker as if she's a pro. I think she really wants to chase Zachary around on foot.


She climbed up all of our stairs (with me behind her of course).

She LOVES finger foods and barely eats her purees anymore. The other day she had half of a piece of pizza!

She also discovered how much fun unrolling toilet paper is...

8 Months

Wowee my little butterball is 8 months old! We've had a pretty exciting month. Olivia has jumped into the land of finger foods and really enjoys it! Her favorite food right now is shredded cheddar cheese. She shovels in it by the handful and chows down!

She is a speed crawler and is continuing to pull up on everything. She has taken a few steps with her push walker but she definitely prefers crawling right now.

We're still not sleeping through the night over here - *sigh* I'm holding out hope that it happens in the very near future though!

Overall, we've got one happy little girl. She is really exploring her sounds and loves to imitate us. As always she's a big fan of her big brother who can make her laugh like no one else.

7 Months

Little Miss Thang is 7 months old! It's hard to believe in 5 short months she will be 1. *yikes*

I have to say that this is one of my favorite ages, ever! She's exploring and babbling and just an absolute joy 99% of the time! She has taken to speed crawling in the past week or so and she definitely has me chasing after her! EVERYTHING goes in her mouth and she gets super upset with us when we take things away from her. She's pretty much a diva already. haha!

She is starting to like solids more and more - still hates the green veggies though! Her new favorites are yogurt, mum-mums and puffs! She's getting pretty good with feeding herself which means more exciting foods are in her future!

Overall, she just rocks and I'm super blessed to have an awesome daughter to go along with my awesome son :)

1/2 Birthday

I can't believe it, Olivia is half a year old! She's been very busy this past month learning how to crawl and has almost perfected it. She definitely gets where she needs to be, that's for sure! Zachary and I have fun calling her a goat because she's constantly trying to eat wires, paper and anything else she can get her hands on. I have to admit that I totally forgot how on top of things I need to be with a little mover! She definitely has me back on my toes!

Overall, things have been wonderful. I just adore this age and the personality that comes with it. Olivia is a very content and happy baby. She enjoys watching Zachary ride his bike and she takes pretty decent naps for me! We're STILL working on night time sleep but I feel like some progress has been made. At least the bags under my eyes are slightly smaller.

I made her a 1/2 bday cake. I did the same thing for Z. The difference in those pictures is that Z sat nicely and Olivia tried to attack the cake.






She's got a few long strands of hair now - enough to hold a bow. I think we'll wait until she grows some more... she looks pretty humiliated.

5 Months

Miss Olivia turned 5 months old yesterday!!! I can't believe she's only one month away from being half a year old. *gasp*

Our little girl is changing daily. She is rolling all over the place, sitting up nice and tall and just loves reaching and pulling for anything she can grab.

She is doing great eating solids. She's had rice, oatmeal, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots and peas. Her favorites so far are oatmeal and sweet potatoes.

She's definitely a little goof ball already. She blows raspberries all of the time, pops her paci out of her mouth and gives a big squeal of excitement when we're trying to get her down for a nap.

I can definitely tell that she's eager to play with all of the big kids too. She adores Zachary and constantly reaches for him when he's near by.

Oh and Olivia got to wear her first ever Raven's gear on Thursday!!! (It's a hand me down from Z but she doesn't mind)

Get In Mah Belly!

Olivia has been pretty hungry lately. The other day I caught her trying to eat herself alive!!!

For fear that I would lose my baby to self mutilation I decided to let her try some rice cereal tonight. Her first solids, oh my!!
