Welcome Baby Boy Badour!

Our friends Greg and Carrie welcomed a new addition to their family early this morning. Daniel (Danny) Craig was born at 1:16am, weighing in at 7lbs 7oz. He came a little over 2 weeks early!

Here is the little guy wide awake:

Congrats to the Badour family! Danny is so cute and Z can't wait to play in the dirt with him :)

Katelynn - 2 Days Old

Rich and I went back to visit sweet little Katelynn today. It was so great to be able to hold her and spend more one on one time with her. She's so beautiful I could just stare at her all day. She winked at us a few times but she wasn't ready to show off her eyes just yet.

I got a few shots of her sleeping like a little angel.

The proud parents are doing really well and the whole family gets to go home Tuesday morning!

Fun in the Sun - Cecil County Style

Yesterday we spent the day with my family in Cecil County. We had a cook-out, crabs and a blast playing in the pool with the kids. Zachary has now mastered swimming all by himself (with the help of floaties). We were such proud parents watching him navigate around the pool with absolutely no fear.

Speaking of no fear, Lillian and Collin are both little fish themselves. It must be something that runs in the family because Sarah, Robert and I lived in the pool when we were growing up.

All in all it was a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and the food, as always, was super yummy!

Chisolm, Party of 4!

We have very super exciting news to share ~ Zachary is going to be a big brother! He is pretty excited about sharing his toys and attention with a sibling too (haha)

Here is he looking pretty proud...

Today we got to meet our little one for the first time! Baby is measuring perfectly and had a VERY strong and fast heartbeat. Rich and I saw it before the OB even did. I am still very early, 7 weeks tomorrow so we are continuing to pray that everything keeps going well and the baby stays nice and healthy for us!

Here is baby's first photo shoot - not much to really point out but it's there!

Baby is due to arrive March 25, 2010

Next appointment is August 31st - stay tuned!

The Three Footer

Today I took Zachary to his 2 year well visit. The doctor said that he is in great health, doing very well speech-wise and is a strapping young man! (Ok I added the last part)

He did end up getting 2 shots and some blood work which I wasn't prepared for! He handled it pretty well with a few tears at the end for good measure.

So our little giant just keeps growing (I know, shocking right?)

He is now 29lbs and 36inches tall. THREE FEET TALL??? Insanity! That puts him in the 62th percentile for weight and 85th percentile for height. So he's really not as giant as we think he is...but compared to the 8lb 4oz and 21.5inch baby we brought home 2 years ago he's pretty darn big!

Anyway, the best part is that he's doing great and is totally normal for his age!

I shall leave you with some pictures of our little fish swimming in the big tub :)

Beach Bums Return

We're baaaaaaackkkkkk from our fun and relaxing family vacation! We pretty much alternated between the beach, pool and napping all week. Zachary was such a fun age this year for everything. He LOVED the beach and had zero fear for running into the ocean. He also swam on his own with floaties in the pool for the first time (briefly).

All in all we all had a great time but we are happy to be home and sleeping in our own beds!

Here is some documentation of our fun:
