Hands on House, Revisited - Again

Today we went back to the Hands on House. We've been there a handful of times before but Zachary loves it and since the weather didn't seem great for the pool I decided to head to Lancaster for a bit.

It's so cute seeing how much more interactive Zachary becomes each time we go. I noticed that he paid a lot more attention to the "imagination" toys this trip than he ever has before.

He put on a puppet show for me with this cute doggie.

He climbed aboard the pirate ship looking for lost treasure (apparently in the ceiling)

Then he rode the tractor. He does this every time we go and always says it was his favorite part.

Miss Olivia enjoyed all of the bright colors and kites they had hanging from the ceiling. She also got a new bow from Mrs. Dana.

Back on the ship, Zachary reenacted a scene from Down Periscope.

On our way home, he was pooped from all of that imagination! ***

Fun in the Sun - Cecil County Style

Yesterday we spent the day with my family in Cecil County. We had a cook-out, crabs and a blast playing in the pool with the kids. Zachary has now mastered swimming all by himself (with the help of floaties). We were such proud parents watching him navigate around the pool with absolutely no fear.

Speaking of no fear, Lillian and Collin are both little fish themselves. It must be something that runs in the family because Sarah, Robert and I lived in the pool when we were growing up.

All in all it was a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and the food, as always, was super yummy!

Soggy Beach Bums

Well, Z and I are back from the beach! We had a really great time with Carmen & Dylan even though the weather just wouldn't cooperate for us. We were able to get out on the beach for an hour and go swimming for about 30 minutes. The rest of the time we spent at the park, feeding a fish (yes singular) and the lone seagul.

It seems like Ocean City just wasn't awake and ready for us this trip!
