Summer Lovin'

Please allow me to formally introduce the little cutie you have seen featured in our blog before.

This is Madelyn; she is our neighbors daughter and absolutely ADORABLE! Zachary has become rather fond of her over the past couple of months and yesterday ask Ms. Lianne if she could have a play date at his pool. Of course Madelyn wouldn't dare pass up an opportunity to be bossed around by the little dictator.

First, Zachary took some time to show-off for Madelyn with some canon balls.

Was she looking???
Yes, but she doesn't seem too impressed.

Second, they just lounged around the pool chatting. Z was very stylish in his hat and swim diaper.
Madelyn was sporting her zebra print bikini. I've never seen such a hip 1 year old!
Last, they enjoyed a nice refreshing fudge pop while discussing diaper sizes and favorite foods.

I am so happy Zachary has made such a sweet friend in Madelyn. I can tell they will get along for many years to come. Come to think of it, I believe I saw Madelyn's daddy installing metal bars on all of their windows last weekend. I wonder what that was all about???

Sleepover Fun

Ok, I've become back-blogged... har har har. So here goes!

Last Wednesday Carmen and Dylan invited us over for a sleepover while Ryan was out of town. Dylan the self proclaimed "Man of the House" really entertained Zachary.
There was random running around and dancing, and spinning, and playing. Oh my!

Then there was a thrilling game of peek-a-boo. Can't you just see how Sir Dylan is expressing his sheer joy for being forced to play with a kid that still pees and poops in a diaper. Um, ewww. He's sooooooooo beyond that.
As a biased mother I do think this may be one of the cutest pics ever. Look how excited Zachary is. Either that or he thinks Dylan looks totally ridiculous in those sunglasses. I mean, hello, we're indoors kid!!! (his opinion, not mine. I think he looked mega-awesome in those)

Dylan had to take a break. He needed to pay a few bills and shave. So it was just a peek-a-boo Zachary for a few minutes.

Shortly after dinner Dylan taught Zachary all about the world wide web.

We had a great time kickin' it pre-school style with you D! Oh and Carm, I surely enjoyed kickin' it girly style too. Thanks for having us over!

Chillin' with the Badour's

Friday night we headed up 83 to spend some good ol quality time with our new neighbors! Carrie, Greg and Natalie introduced us to a local pizza joint and then we had some fun playing back at their house. The kids had a great time chasing one another around the house and the big kids had a good time playing Wii once the little ones went to bed. We had such a great time and it was an awesome preview to the upcoming hang outs we will have once our house is finished! Thanks for hosting C & G. Can't wait to do it again soon :0)
