Santa Dinner

This evening we went to Rich's work for a dinner with Santa. The kids got all gussied up so I had to get some pictures of them in front of the tree. Thankfully they were good sports for me!

Zachary actually went up to Santa - I was shocked!

Olivia's 1st present - ever! She wasn't too sure what to do with it.

Christmas Cookies 2010

Zachary and I finally got around to making some Christmas cookies last week. We had so much fun decorating them with sprinkles and icing! He is so fun to do projects with now because he really takes an interest in them!

He was very serious about his job

He added some of the larger sprinkles 1 by 1

He loved coloring with the edible markers

1st batch complete!

The Christmas Spirit

We are really starting to get into the holiday spirit around here! Yesterday the kids and I delivered hot cocoa mix and our Christmas cards to our friends in the neighborhood. Z really liked being in charge of holding everything and going up to the doors and knocking.

Today we went to the mall to visit Santa. Z had all intentions of telling Santa that he wanted "lots of trains and train tracks," but when we got there he changed his mind and wouldn't get out of the stroller. haha!

Olivia was a good sport for me and I got her very 1st picture with the jolly guy. She looks miserable but she was just very serious about what she wants for Christmas. She didn't want Santa to think it was a joke.

Merry Christmases

Wowweee what a busy couple of days we have had! Once again we were totally spoiled by everyone this Christmas and had such a wonderful time spending the holiday with our families.

As we do each year we kicked off Christmas at my mom's on Christmas Eve. She made an amazingly delicious dinner and went way overboard on gifts (again!). I think the theme of the night was "next year there will be 5 kids running around." Just 3 little ones filled with anticipation and excitement made for a very loud but awesome evening.

After spending the day at home we headed down to Baltimore for an amazing Christmas dinner at Chris and Cristin's house. All in all this was one of our favorite Christmas.' Zachary really got into opening his gifts and seeing the excitement on his face was priceless!
Next up... New Years!

A Gingerbread Man House

I am so excited that this year I was able to start a new tradition with Zachary. I decided he is the perfect age to make a gingerbread house with. I had to make the foundation by myself but he had a blast decorating (and eating). He also insisted that it was not simply a 'Gingerbread House' but a "Gingerbread MAN House." This kid cracks me up.

We are really getting into the holiday spirit in this house!

So it's not going to win any awards or anything but we think it's pretty special :)

Three Years of Clausin' Around

This year marks the third year that I have dressed Zachary up and made him pose in a Santa hat for our Christmas card. He has actually been a trooper about it every year so far (of course this year did include some cookies for bribery).

Here he is in 2007 - These were taken in early November so he was only 4 months old and full of drool!

Then who can forget this sweetness in 2008? Gosh he was so stinkin' adorable in that outfit!

For 2009 I think we really picked a winner...

Here are some more outtakes from our shoot. Reindeer are standing by to deliver our Christmas cards so keep checking your mail!
