Where Kids Can Be A Kid

With all of the rain we've been having today we started going a bit stir crazy being stuck indoors. We decided to head up to York to Chuck E. Cheese for some good old fashioned fun! Surprisingly the place was pretty empty and the kids who were there were well behaved (minus the little girl who smacked Olivia across the head while I was bent down - seriously).

Zachary had an absolute blast playing all of the games and running around. It was so nice to get out of the house for awhile!

He beat Daddy at the water shooting game every time.

Learning how to play skee ball.

Doing is wrong - haha!

He could have played on the racing games the entire day if we let him. Rich had to hold down the gas pedal for him though.

See Ya Later 2's!

Zachary's last day in the 2's program at Sunny Day's was yesterday. It's sad to say goodbye to the friends he made this year but also exciting to start summer vacation! I really feel like when he started school back in September he was a little baby. He has grown so much in the past 8 months!

Here are some pictures of his last day!

Playing with his BFF Nicholas

One of the Dad's brought a fire truck to the school for the kids to play on. What a special end of the year treat!

Here is his class!

Zachary will be going back next September to the 3's program. He'll go 2 days a week and I won't be attending anymore. He really is growing up way too fast!!!

Anna's Baptism

Last Sunday we went to Cecil County to celebrate Anna's Baptism. It was such a beautiful day and so much fun spending it with family.

Anna wasn't too happy wearing the Baptism gown. (Maybe it was just the goofy hat that upset her)
Lily is getting so big!

Anna and her cake.

2 Monther

Wow, 2 months old already! This past month Olivia has gone from a squishy little blob to a smiley, SOLID baby.

She is starting to have a lot more awake time - without as much fussing (shew!) She is nonstop smiles and "talking" a ton. She has started to notice things, like the mobile on her swing, and she kicks her legs and gets super excited about stuff now.

Today we tried out the Bumbo for the first time. She had a bit of an attitude problem about it.

Then Daddy came down and talked to her and she was all smiles again! We have a feeling she's going to be on the move (rolling) in the very near future because she's super squirmy all of the time. Can't wait to see how much she changes this upcoming month!

Mother's Day 3.0

This year I celebrated my 3rd Mother's Day and I have to say this year was by far the best! I woke up to Zachary bringing me flowers and cards in bed. Then I was treated to homemade waffles (and a new waffle maker!)

Then we went and picked out flowers and picked up stuff to make an herb garden! For dinner Rich grilled steak, asparagus and sweet potatoes! Overall, we just hung out and relaxed today which was perfect in my book.

I just feel so totally blessed to have these kids call me their mom!

Fantastic 50

On Thursday the 13th my mom is turning the big 5-0! We took her out to dinner to her favorite restaurant, Laurrapin's, last night to celebrate and had a great time!

Surprise!!!

Incognito Baby - You can not see that I am here.
Opening her presents. We got her a Wii and some Wii accessories.

Sarah & Phil

The whole gang!
The newlyweds! (Oh yeah, my Mom & Mike got married! Another thing to celebrate!)

Happy Birthday Mom! We love you and had a great time celebrating another wonderful year!

P.S. Incognito Baby is also Bionic Baby. The eyes say it all - she was WIDE awake almost the entire evening!

The Weather is Here

This nice weather has been keeping us pretty busy but I've tried to stay on top of taking pictures of the kids!

Over the weekend we got out Zachary's new pool (thanks aunt sarah) and he had an absolute blast playing in it.

Olivia came out for a bit and hid under her hat.

Then she took a nap. The heat is tiring!

Yesterday we went to ZooAmerica at Hershey Park. I'm not sure why I even bother taking my camera with me when we visit zoos. All I end up getting is the back of heads!
Mr. Cool Guy wore his hat the entire day.

See what I mean? Z and Madelyn were checking out a black bear while he was sleeping.

He turned around to make sure I saw the bear.
This morning I bribed Z with a lollipop to get a picture with his sister. It was 9am and I'm not ashamed of it at all. This was the best face he could manage for me. I shouldn't have let him cash in on that lollipop!

Finally, I got Olivia REALLY smiling on camera. She is getting so big and just melts my heart with these faces!
