Bumpity Bump Watch

Before humiliating myself I must add a buffer with an adorable picture of my handsome boy. This was before leaving for school on Tuesday. He looks like such a big boy!

Bump Watch - Week 17

Holy cow another month has passed already? I can't believe in 3 more weeks I will be half way done! Yikes!!!

Other than the belly growing a bit things have been pretty uneventful (yay)! I feel great 99% of the time and have been feeling the baby move pretty consistently for the past 2 weeks! I think in another week or 2 Rich should be able to feel some movement. I've got a pretty strong baby baking in there, and of course very weak stomach muscles. haha!

So here I am at 17 weeks...

and here I am 17 weeks pregnant with Z. Me thinks I am MUCH bigger this time. Oy
Next up, BIG ultrasound on October 28th followed by my regular monthly appt. Next time I do a bump update I will know what is cooking in there. So, so very exciting!

Thomas Tushy & Old Friends

I'd really like to know where the little boy that ran around my house today came from! The one who peed and pooped in the potty all by himself and then decided that yes, he did want to wear his big boy underwear!

Zachary is well on his way to being potty trained and I can't give one bit of credit to myself or Rich. I mean, we didn't deter him but we certainly weren't "training" by any means. He has been telling us when he wants to go and sometimes we just find him naked in the bathroom sitting on the potty. I am such a proud mommy! He really amazes me more and more each day.

Of course I had to get a shot of him in his Thomas undies for the photo album. I think his girlfriends will really like this one :)

As cute as that picture is, it makes me feel a little sad because my baby is really getting way too big, WAY too fast.

Remember this cutie below?? Yep, that's Z's old friend Charlotte that he used to play with almost every single day when we lived in Baltimore. We finally met up with them today for a play date at Oregon Ridge (after 9 months of not seeing one another).

The kids took some time to get caught up and have a snack.

My handsome boy with a very cold nose! He refused to wear a hat or his hood, I wasn't being negligent.

Back to the potty business... Z wore his underwear to the playground and then to Walmart without ONE SINGLE ACCIDENT. That was from 9:30am until 1:30pm and then he told me when he had to pee when we got home and darn if he didn't almost fill up his whole potty!!!!
Oh, I'm so proud, can't you tell??????

Weber's Farm 2009

Friday, Mrs. Laura and I met Carmen and Dylan at Weber's Farm. This was the 2nd year we have taken the boys together to the farm. They had such a great time running around and playing on a very warm day. Thankfully this trip did not consist of Z getting his finger bit by a hungry goat!

Take a Guess!

Over there ---------------------->

is a poll so you can guess what baby #2 is. Of course your guess does not guarantee that is what I'm having. Oh and there is no reward for a correct guess. Well, you get to brag.

GO!

From the Mouths of 2 Year Olds - Part 2

I knew I shouldn't start a "column" of sorts because my follow-thru with things is pretty craptastic. However! I was inspired yet again to share some of the funny things that Z has said/done recently because they were doozies!

1) On our way out of Hershey Park on Saturday Zachary spotted a large fountain in the middle of the entrance. He ran up to it and yelled "I wanna ride DIS one!" and started to remove his shirt. Yes, he thought the fountain was a ride.

2) Having me around full-time may end up being detrimental to my child.

The other morning Z and I were discussing breakfast and I asked him what he wanted. His answer, "waffles." Then he asked me for candy. I said "No, we don't have any candy and it's 7am." About 2 seconds later he says, "I want CANDY." I looked at him and said "I told you, we don't have any candy. Now what would you like for breakfast?" He looked me square in the eye and said "I TOLD YOU, WAFFLES!"

Ahhh the sarcasm.

3) ***Warning this is gross*** Zachary was sitting on the potty going poop and started screaming "Mommy, look snakes!" I had no idea what he was talking about until I went in and saw him pointing into the potty. Yeah, he was referring to the poop as snakes.

4) Every night when it's getting time for bed we tell Zachary that the moon is out so it's time for night night. Then we tell him that he needs to stay in bed until the sun is out in the morning. This morning he woke up and yelled "Look Mom the moon woke up!" He was actually seeing the sun rising in the sky.

Hershey Kisses

Saturday was another busy day for us. We took Zachary to Hershey Park for his first time and boy did he have a blast. He rode as many kiddie rides as he could get on and Rich was a good sport and rode a lot of them too!

We had one of the most gorgeous days too!
Z was pretty afraid of this Reese's Cup

He became more afraid - I became more hungry!

Z's first ride on a space ship!

He rode this 3 times in a row

Zoolanders

Yesterday was the annual free day at the Maryland Zoo, yay! This was mine and Zachary's 3rd year going and I must say - THE BEST TIME EVER! He just loved the zoo this year. He named so many animals and got a kick out of them. His favorites were the penguins, leopards and zebra's.

Michelle and Hope, Cristin and Katelynn also went with us. We had such a beautiful day and a wonderful time enjoying being outdoors. Here are some pictures from the day:
