Ultimate Play Date

Today Zachary and I had a play date with Carrie, Natalie and Danny at the Ultimate Playzone. This place may be my new favorite spot to take Zachary on cold/rainy/boring days. He has an absolute blast and when we leave he's totally exhausted!

The kids had a great time playing and laughing together - as the photos show, lots of fun was had today.

A Bride and A Baptism

Wowwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeee what a busy busy weekend of celebrations! I'm still exhausted from being out of the house all weekend so I'm making this short (in words, not pictures)!

Sarah's bridal shower was on Saturday. It rained - hard, otherwise the day was a hit! The theme was "Fall" if you can't tell and the food was AMAZING. Only a little over 3 weeks until the BIG day, we can't wait!

Sunday was Miss Katelynn's big baptism day! The weather was absolutely gorgeous. (why do I feel the need to report on the weather?) Anyway, Katelynn was a perfect princess in church and wore the cutest dress I've ever seen!

Thomas Trick or Treats

Today I took Zachary to a retirement community to go Trick or Treating. He had such a great time visiting with everyone! Of course it didn't take him too long to understand the concept of saying "Trick or Treat" and getting a piece of candy in return.
He insisted on wearing his hat to the side. Who knew Thomas was a thug?

Seeing all of the older folks beam with joy as the kids walked down the hallway really made this a fun event. We'll definitely be doing this again next year!

Thomas Tushy & Old Friends

I'd really like to know where the little boy that ran around my house today came from! The one who peed and pooped in the potty all by himself and then decided that yes, he did want to wear his big boy underwear!

Zachary is well on his way to being potty trained and I can't give one bit of credit to myself or Rich. I mean, we didn't deter him but we certainly weren't "training" by any means. He has been telling us when he wants to go and sometimes we just find him naked in the bathroom sitting on the potty. I am such a proud mommy! He really amazes me more and more each day.

Of course I had to get a shot of him in his Thomas undies for the photo album. I think his girlfriends will really like this one :)

As cute as that picture is, it makes me feel a little sad because my baby is really getting way too big, WAY too fast.

Remember this cutie below?? Yep, that's Z's old friend Charlotte that he used to play with almost every single day when we lived in Baltimore. We finally met up with them today for a play date at Oregon Ridge (after 9 months of not seeing one another).

The kids took some time to get caught up and have a snack.

My handsome boy with a very cold nose! He refused to wear a hat or his hood, I wasn't being negligent.

Back to the potty business... Z wore his underwear to the playground and then to Walmart without ONE SINGLE ACCIDENT. That was from 9:30am until 1:30pm and then he told me when he had to pee when we got home and darn if he didn't almost fill up his whole potty!!!!
Oh, I'm so proud, can't you tell??????

Weber's Farm 2009

Friday, Mrs. Laura and I met Carmen and Dylan at Weber's Farm. This was the 2nd year we have taken the boys together to the farm. They had such a great time running around and playing on a very warm day. Thankfully this trip did not consist of Z getting his finger bit by a hungry goat!

Hershey Kisses

Saturday was another busy day for us. We took Zachary to Hershey Park for his first time and boy did he have a blast. He rode as many kiddie rides as he could get on and Rich was a good sport and rode a lot of them too!

We had one of the most gorgeous days too!
Z was pretty afraid of this Reese's Cup

He became more afraid - I became more hungry!
