A Day Out with Thomas

Last Friday we did a special day with Zachary. We took him to 'Day Out with Thomas' at the B&O Railroad Museum, and it was a blast!! He woke up totally ready and when we gave him his conductors hat he was beyond thrilled.

The boys enjoyed looking at all of the different trains and train parts - I enjoyed taking pictures.

We even got to meet Sir Topham Hat!

Zachary was posing with his best Baltimore City look.
He got his 1st tattoo (or stamp as he likes to call them)!

He did some spin art.

Finally, we got to see Thomas! Alllllllllll Aboard!!!!!

This conductor looked very official.

He became a Jr. Conductor.

He even got up close and personal with Thomas himself. It was a very amazing day for my little boy.

Friday Photos

I had a little photo shoot with the kids today. Z was being his normal silly self but I LOVE this picture. His face is priceless and SO him.

Olivia rocks teal. She's so dang cute even though she doesn't sleep - at all - ever.

SMILE!

When I got pregnant with Zachary I mentioned a few times that I hoped I was pregnant with twins. I figured if I had twins I would only have to be pregnant once and our family would be complete. A bonus would have been if the twins were one boy and one girl. Well, I didn't get my twins... or did I?

The more pictures I take of Olivia the more I see Zachary when he was a baby. I'm going to start saying I had my twins, only 2 years and 8 months apart.

Miss Olivia's 1st "smile" - captured.

Zachary - a little more grinny

Baptism

Our little Olivia was Baptized this past Sunday! It was such a wonderful day shared with our family. Olivia slept through the whole ceremony but it was absolutely beautiful.

Here is a little photo shoot of Olivia in the gown. This gown is 31 years old. My brother, sister and I all wore it for our Baptisms and it has since been worn by Zachary and Lily.

One Month Old

I'm sure I will say this every month but, WHERE DID THE TIME GO? Goodness, I barely feel like we've been home from the hospital a few hours let alone a whole month! Olivia has been an absolute dream. I can't remember our family without her.

She eats about every 3 hours and naps fairly well during the days. Nights are still a bit hairy but she is a far better sleeper than her older brother so we're counting our blessings for that!

Now that she has more awake time I have been able to get some good pics of her. We've been keeping busy doing some tummy time, playing on the rain forest mat and getting out and about. Olivia even had her first babysitter this week! She went to our neighbors for a couple of hours while Z and I were at school. Of course she slept the entire time!

Overall our first month has been pretty exhausting but amazing at the same time. We are so in love with our little girl and can't wait to see her continue to grow!

Easter Weekend

What a busy and fun weekend we had! Rich was home for three days and we really took advantage of the gorgeous weather.

On Friday we dyed Easter eggs with our neighbors, Madelyn and Lianne. The kids had a really good time making a total mess!

aren't these LOVELY?
Saturday we went to Redman Lake for a picnic.

Sunday we woke up to find that the Easter bunny left some goodies for the kids. After church we came home for naps and then went to Baltimore to have dinner with Rich's family. It was a FANTASTIC DAY!
